A&S contest – Be an Inspiration…
Announcing the be an inspiration to others A&S Display and Competition at Siege of Glengary XV, September 24-26 2010
Hail all artisans throughout Knowne World , we are in search of displays to inspire others and show the talents of our many wonderful artisans!
This year there will be three Challenges in our A&S competition, There is no theme other than to help inspire others.
1) Populous choice, the winner will be chosen by the most votes by those who attend the event, this portion will even give a chance for a member of the populous to win, and a drawling will be held to for all of those who voted to have a chance at winning a price.
2) Youth competition, we encourage our youth and all visiting youth to display their work here for the youth category. This will be a judged competition.
3) The “I Used to be a Novice Challenge”, This challenge is to show the progress you have made and to help encourage others by showing examples of what the work was like when you first started and by showing a piece made in the last 8 months. We ask those entering this category to bring with them something from their humble beginning efforts and one of their more recent achievements. It is our hope that those who look upon the display may be inspired to try new things. This will also be a judged competition.
There is ample space to display all work appropriately and the A&S area will be attended throughout the day so you do not need to worry about your entry.
If you have any questions or special needs please contact the A&S coordinator at: Phone: 304-582-2323 (after 6 and before 9)
