Siege of Glengary XX
Countdown to Siege XX
The Shire of Sylvan Glen sends warm greetings and an invitation to join us on the weekend of September 25-27, 2015 for a weekend of friendship, camaraderie, and friendly warfare to determine who will possess the Sylver Apple for another year.
We will be marking the 20th anniversary of the Siege of Glengary with the theme Random Acts of Chivalry. Event attendees are encouraged to bring tokens and/or favors of their choice and give them to gentles throughout the weekend that inspire them by performing chivalric deeds or by simply making them smile. Friday evening will feature our famous Travelers Repast. Saturday will have a full day of martial activities, including heavy fighting, rapier, archery, thrown weapons, and atlatl. We will also have hounds coursing and shopping. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday at no additional cost. Saturday evening we will hold a grand feast and there may be a bardic circle afterwards.
